Is this normal? I did a head count and was short one and after some intense searching switched the flow on my AC powerjet and out floats my female elec blue johanni.

I took the jet out, but is this common? The jet didn't come with the filter thingee just a cone adapter.

Kinda just curious if this has happened before.

Thanks :(

Happened before to me. But generally it happens to weaker fish that cannot stand up to the current(as in sick). I suggest getting a koralia ph. They make a lot of unfocused flow and don't have much backwards suction.

Try wrapping pantyhose or sponge over the intake. Feces happens, mate.

Yeah I have a maxi jet with the screen laying around so might put that in. was just using it for flow on the dead side of tank. Just didn't think the intake flow was that powerful. The fish was only about an inch but she held her own in a tank of cichlids.

I have 2 koralias in my sw, LOVE them..
