Loud canister filter...

I may have to just live with it, but I am getting annoyed with how loud my canister is. Is there some way on quieting it down? I'm thinking some kind of wrap?

What canister filter do you have? If we know the brand, we may be able to chime in with our experiences.

Welcome to AA. If your canister is making a gurgling noise make sure there isn't an air stone or other bubble generating device near the intake. Bubbles can cause canister filters to make noise. Depending on how long it has been since you last cleaned the filter you might want to clean the impeller or even replace it if there is a grinding or rattling noise.
