Mag Float

Well, I have some algae on the glass of my 20g high nano-reef. It takes some work to get it off and I was wondering if this would be able to scrape/wipe it off. Anyone have any experience with this product with this kind of algae.

i use it on my glass tank with green spot algae in fw. never had a problem with it. i would guess nerite snails would also work.

You have to be careful not to catch gravel under it when you hit the bottom of the tank.
I put two scratches on my glass by not paying attention.

OK thanks guys! Ruadh, I have sand. Would it still be that big of an issue?

yes. maybe bigger. just stay away from the bottom. if the sang gets between the glass and the mag float it can scratch it.
