I've had it with these useless underpowered, dangerous, inaccurate, unreliable glass heaters.

I'm gonna try the 100w 'unbreakable' Rena Smart Heaters.

Anyone used them?

Was this the mini or the regular? We got a 50w mini Marina right now, plan to use it in a 5g. It's in a 2g right now... :/

We have a 50w Aquenon pro and it is awesome! and we have a 100w Aquenon pro. I don't know anything about the brand you are going to try though.

I never even knew there was a mini version.

It's around 8/9" long, it's about 2 years old and it's never been able to heat anything properly.

I'd rather just go with these new fancy plastic heaters which are getting much better reviews.

It's smaller(shorter) but same watts.

I'm sorry :(. I hope ours isn't like that.

I hope someone can answer your question :)
