I have had 3 fish sucked into my powerhead so I finally decided to put a filter sock on there. Will this be okay?

I don't want to burn out the motor, I don't think it will but I want to be sure. The right side where the water is being pushed is left open but all the sides where it is sucked in is covered and I tied it off on the left end. I hate losing fish!

It shouldnt hurt the powerhead however it will become clogged with food/debris. I would look into a new power head honestly but whatever works for you.

As long as I clean it out every once in a while it should be fine right?
