I decided to clean my mother's goldfish tank which has a Marineland 360. When I went to put it back together and get it running I remembered why it doesn't get cleaned often, the priming button gets stuck in the down position and it's very hard to get the filter started up again. I finally wedged something in the housing for the button and got it working but it took forever and was no easy task.

Is this a common problem? Any tips or tricks for when this happens?

I broke the primer plunger on my fluval 406 I just hooked up a pump to the inlet to prime then disconnected the pump running like a champ
