Media reactor vs boipellet reactor

Is there a difference between the two? Can I not use a Bio pellet reactor as a media reactor and vice versa? Just put different media in it?

I hate to say it but it seems like most people don't see threads in the equipment forums. You may have to ask in the general reef forum. That's what I would try.

You can use them for one or the other. There are a few mods needed. Like the tlf phosban reactor comes with black sponges to keep the phosban from going into the tank. When used with biopellets the sponge is removed and replaced with a plastic net. What are you wanting to do? With what equipment?
