MH Advise

I found what I think is a good deal on a MH light it is 175 watt light with a 10k bulb for 80 bucks. Do you use other lights with MH's or is the MH all I need? I would be getting two of them putting me at 6.37 watts per gallon. I plan on doing coral and need to make sure I have everything I need.

If you want a little more blue you can supplement with actinics or go with a 14000 k bulb depending on your preference

could I buy a actinics bulb for a normal output light? Should I have it I honestly can't think of how it would look without it. To be honest with you if I need to spend alot of extra money to make it look good I would rather buy a light with both 10k and actnics lights in it

you could just use a no actinic or if you want you can go with a 20000k bulb with no actinics

a 175 watt 20K is to weak to support coral growth. For a 175 stick with a 10K or 14K. The 14K is blue as well but has more PAR out put then the 20K
