Nope. Just make sure aquarium bulbs fit the unit.

Besides it saying "Not for residential use" right on the warning sticker and wieghing 25lbs, I'd say excessive heat/noise and energy inefficency would be some more issues... Also, like schoeplin said, you would have to see if you can get the proper lamp for it and the lamp cover that is on it will most likely cause a shift in k and intensity before the light reaches the tank. :|

By the time you buy $50 bulbs and pay $40 shipping plus packaging & handling fees. Your at or over $150 a piece for something you are not sure will work correctly and is also used. You can buy new retro kits for around $175 that you know are correct. No brainer for me.
