Hi. I just set up a 72 gal. tank. I have a T5 fixture over it now with 2 10,000k and 2 420/460nm and 6 led lights. Right now I just have a few zoanthids, but may add some LPS and some SPS. Now my tank runs between 80-82 degrees. If I did change to MH would I need a chiller?
Thanks. Shane.

The T5's are 54 watt. Heater is set at 80. I do live in Florida so it's really hot hear. I do keep my house at 76. Don't know if that matters.

Try dropping the heater down a little and seeing where the temp in the tank settles out at.
