micro bubbles.....

This might be kind of a dumb question but, I have a skilter that i bought from Dr.Foster's and Smith a couple of months ago. It seems to be putting out a lot of micro bubbles in the water when i have the skimmer part of it on. I was wondering if this affects the water quality or the health of the fish any? TIA

IMO it does not but alot of people dont like the looks of them. I have them in my tank.

Yeah, I really didn't think it mattered. I was thinking if anything it would oxygenate the water a little bit more. Just wasn't sure if it was doing anything to the fish though. thanks!
