Moon Lighting

This might be a stupid question but i was wondering if the moon lights are pretty much the same thing as a common blacklight bulb.

nope, not even close. most moonlights are blue LED's.

I was thinking about making one. So would i use the high intensity blue LED's or just the regular ones.

Might also want to check out rope lights. Very inexpensive and come many colors. Here's a link to a DIY site on rope lights.
