mp10's or mp40's?

Im setting up a 55 gallon aquarium and considering buying a vortech powerhead. Should I get 2 mp10's or 1 mp40?

I think my plan is im going to get one mp10 at a time and just pair it with my maxi jet untill i save up enough money for another one.. Darn things are expensiveee..
