My fluval 405 broken?

The priming rod came out of the pump! Is my filter broken!!

It's only for priming. If you already got water in the hoses the canister will syphon the water itself once you hook it back up. And you can always put water in the hoses by yourself. Not speaking from experience but seen it online + simple physics make sense.
