Anybody know of any good/safe methods of buffing out haze/small scratches on the inside of a saltwater tank with livestock in it?

Years ago this tank housed a very feisty orphaned Undulated Trigger. (took in a lot of orphans when working at the lfs)
He was about 5 inches and would pile the rocks up against the front of the tank. I guess he liked his privacy. :hide:

He would also take rocks in his mouth and swim back and forth dragging them along the sides.
In an acrylic tank that's not such a good thing.

And is it safe to use the Novus products on the outside of the tank with livestock inside?

I've safely used Novus on the outside of freshwater tanks. I don't use it anywhere it has the remotest chance of getting in the water.
