Need 24" Fluorescent bulb Suggestion for Plants

We bought my daughter the Aqueon 36g bow front for Christmas. It is cycled and the fish are good. We planted about 8 plants and they are not thriving.

Aqueon describes the included bulb as, "24" 17-watt T8 full spectrum fluorescent lamp"

I don't know what Full Spectrum means. I really don't know anything about lighting or jargon used to describe it.

We aren't looking to upgrade the hood and light fixture right now.

Is there a bulb that I should think about replacing this standard bulb with?

My only desire is to get the best plant growing light I can muster out of this single bulb fluorescent hood.

Thanks

Mixed reviews

Thanks for the tip. Gets very mixed reviews on Amazon.

Anyone else have experience with this or can they recommend something different?

Either in a LFS or a hardware store even?
