need a 'stand' for a 5 gallon

I need an idea of what to use for a stand for my 5 gallon aquarium. I looked at end tables but the only ones I could find was a "parson's end table" that said the weight limit was 40lbs. Would that hold it?

Kitchen counter, tv stand, things like that. Just make sure it's nice and wide, as a stand high enough to see but close to the dimensions of a 5g would be very unstable.

I'm using plant stands for two of my small tanks. They work great! ( one my grandfather made years ago and my father made the other one). Also I don't have kids, dogs or cats that could tip them over!

Just about any bookshelf will do. If it'll hold the weight of books, it'll hold the weight of a 5g. You can put a piece of glass under the tank to prevent wear to the furniture.
