Need advice on canister filter

Hello everyone. Stumbled onto this site, so I fugured I would join.

I just bought a 60 gallon tank and stand at Petsmart. I want a canister filter, but the stand will only allow 14" underneath the tank. The only canister filter I found that would fit is the Fluval G3/G6 filters. Is there another option, or maybe a filter I may have missed?

An eheim wouldn't fit? Idk how big that is for your 60 but I think the smallest model must be only about 12"-14"? I can't be for certain though.

Most canisters are right around 14 inches tall. I'm not sure if that's just the canister, or if that includes the height of the hose fittings too.
