Need help with lighting for reef tank

I have a 65 gallon tank 36" 18" 24" it does not have a brace in the middle (thank god) the question is will a 250 metal halide/t5 combo light the tank well enough for me to have any coral i want? ( Sps and lsp) and what do people think of this led light. Its cheap but that what scares me. should i get this or go with the metal halide. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00OK8...o6L&ref=plSrch

I have 2 but have not used them yet(waiting for my acan(LED) to die)
Lots of post and info here on them in reef section.
Right down to settings.
I can think of at least 5-10 members running them now.
