I have a six month old D&D typhoon hob skimmer. A few days ago I took it apart to clean it. It was running fine a at the time just had a build up of algae inside it. I took all the components apart, scrubbed all the algae off from inside it and soaked the Venturi tube in a isopropyl alcohol/white vinegar mix to remove the coraline build up. I put it back together installed it back on the tank and now the Venturi is dripping water instead of sucking air. I pulled it back off the tank to see if something was assembled incorrectly or if there were any obstructions and from what I can tell everything is fine so I am stumped. Anyone have any ideas?
