need protine skimmer decision help

I am currently in the market to buy a protine skimmer for my 46 gallon FOWLR. My first choice was to get a HOB aquac remora with a 1200 maxi jet.

So my plan was to also buy a HOB refugium to hold some macro aglae and increase my water volume. So i came across this CPR refugium with modified bakpak protine skimmer.

Should I just buy the remora and refugium separately or should i save money and buy the cpr combo?

Has anyone had expierence with either? Your feedback is highly appreciated.
