New 155g setup - plumbing so far
Here's just the sump/fuge setup. The ball valves for the return will only be used to service, not restrict flow. Mag 12 for the main return. The skimmer is the Aqua C EV180 and will have a Mag7 driving it.
Will use the miracle mud and a bit of sand in the fuge. I was kinda concerned about the mag 12 which'll give me about 1000 gph going thru the fuge that fast, but I've read a few things that make me feel better about that. I know I can shorten pump life by restricting the output, but I still may consider it if the fuge (35g or so) doesn't give me what I want. Anyway, Fishfreek just responded to my annual question about posting pics. Actually trying it this time. Hope it works. |
