New Filter

I was planning on getting a new filter,

But will this mess up the tank?

Or will there be enough bacteria in the tank itself to not matter?

What kind of filter you going to use how big is the setup your putting it on?

Also, what filter are you using now? When I was switching filters, I just ran both of them until the new filter had a good bacterial colony going.

I am using a second nature wdf 3000

I am switching to a Skilter (the smaller model)

I cant run both, not enough room on my 30 gallon tank...
