So I just bought two of the Taotronic 120W Intelligent lights yesterday for my 55g Reef aquarium and I don't know what kind of schedule I should keep the lights on. Right now I have it running on the factory schedule but I don't know if this is right or not. I have some zoas, a hammer, a torch coral, another type of soft coral, and one stony coral. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You actually have 3 stony corals :). The hammer and torch both build skeletons. Settings are up to you, I like a bluer tone as it makes the corals look much better

Thank you! I am still learning about the different corals. So I don't have to worry about having too much light for them?

Start them at about 30% and raise the intensity over a period of weeks. You may not need to turn them up to 100%.

My old lighting was metal halide combination. My local fish store guy said that I should start the lights at 30% white and 40% blue and increase it by 5% every week for about a month. He said don't exceed 50% white and 60% blue. Is this pretty accurate?
