New power compact lights cracked

Maybe someone here can give me some advice. I installed a new retrofit kit of 4x96 power compacts. Everything looked great until about an hour after I turned them on when I heard a crack and 2 of the lights went out. I hope to find the reason for this before I replace the lights and this happens again. Any Ideas?

I was going to start a thread about PC lights too. I bought a lamp with 2X96 bulbs. the bulbs broke off the base. I purchased replacements. the Actinic bulb is fine, but the first 10000 didnt work and the second broke under my finger. i wonder if PC lamps are made like cr**?
