Smile New tank

Got my tank today. As I had specific size restrictions I got Fluval 23 Vista. I was happy to see that even in a tank this size there is plenty of room for plants and a few nice size rocks. The tank is very nice and the equipment that came with it is suitable to a tank of this size. I'm very pleased. Eager to get things rolling, but still have a lot to do.

That is exciting news! What are you wanting to put into your new tank?

Talking Creating planted tank

I got lava rocks, gravel substrate in place. Added 3" of water...so far so good. Friday, back to the store for plants. Wish me luck. After planting, nothing exotic, fill up, douse with ammonia, and the cycle begins. Thanks for your interest.

Sounds like a good plan.

What are you going to stock the tank with when it is ready?
