Before ordering, contact the retailer and confirm that the hoods that you are purchasing will fit on a 55 gal tank. I had a link for a company that sold the 55 gal Glass hoods for All-Glass but I can't seem to find it. You can also do a search for Versa-Top. That's the name of the hoods.

That's the site JC. If you go with the Versa Top, you will order 2 of the 24" hoods. This seems odd beacuse the guy at the lfs told me that I would need to order the 48" hood set. Hmmmmmm. That makes me wonder......

Thank you all. I went into Carson city today and decided to take some measurments and its seems two 24's will fit just fine. I took them out of the box and measured but since they want like 10.00 more each i am ordering online. I am going to order my filter tonight so i can start cycling this week... here we go!
