Octopus Vortex 1500: Ventu 200 protein skimmer

I'm looking for a new protein skimmer for a 1500L tank that will house elasmobranchs. Does anyone know if the Octopus Vortex 1500 or the Octopus Classic 1500L NW-200 are any good?

I use the original Octo NW 200 on my 125. I'm very happy with it.
