Well long story short I am getting back in fish tanks. Have only done the standard fish, gravel, fake plant setups in the past. Several years after getting rid of them due to a move I am starting up a new tank. 90 gal planted with co2 and such. Info from sites like this are driving me into this nicer tank setup and i can't wait to see the results.
Anyhow..... I have seen people speak of using a regular backdrop and using a cooking oil or olive oil to stick it to the tank. Can anyone point me to a thread with a step by step ?? Hoping to see pictures of final product and see how much oil they use and such. Just sounds way to easy and I am wondering if it really is just put some oil down and squeegee the air out. Also does this stand the test of time....
Or... my other choice is to paint it. Which may be my final route...
