Hello All,

I have a tank that has been sitting in my basement for 4 years. It has a lot of white buildup on it, and was wondering what is best to soak in it to clean this up?

I have read a lot that white vinegar/water is a good solution. Looking to start a new tank the next couple of weeks.

Also, does anyone know where to get plexi-glass cut to size for a top, because it is a unique shape to the tank.

Thanks!

I've heard of people using vinegar, CLR, barkeepers friend, etc. I've always had the best luck using nothing but a single razor blade (carefully) as a scraper and some water.
