Opinion on a MH/PC fixture
I'm looking at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Odyssea-48-Metal...ayphotohosting Anyone have an opinion on this fixture. Right now I am still on my 4x65 pc and want to start keeping SPS in my 75 tank (I also figure I'd move my 4x65 to a shallow frag tank). Anyone have an opinion on this fixture? Will it be sufficient for SPS? Finally, it comes with a stand, but I would prefer to suspend it, so I'll probably put it on an adjustable pully. It should also help with heat. Thanks, BF

I've seen lots of people complain about the balasts in the Odyssea MH fixtures. One guy's balast caught fire, due to bad/undersized capaciters.
No one seems to complain about the PC fixtures, but I would avoid the MH unless you plan to put your own balast in. |
