Overflow box plumbing

Thanks for all the help guys. This is my first sump/plumbing so I'm learning a lot.

It is already glued but can I just not use it? And the overflow wasn't made by me but I wanted to. I just didn't have the equipment. I did make the sump design and plumbing though. Thank you for the warning, I didn't know that was possible.

Yeah that's basically what I had in mind. Just wasn't sure about the ball valves. And do you glue the PVC together? Or how do you prevent leaking?

I glued it and when I need to take it off the ball valve is screw on so it will come in half on the left but on the right I will half to cut it with a saw.
