hey guys i jus got a megaflow sump filter for a 100 gallon tank and i was wondering what would be a good overflow for the tank since it isn't drilled..i am pretty clueless on this so anything would help!

thanx!

Ok...

http://www.aquatictech.com/pumps.html

Assuming it's 3 - 4 feet from your sump water line to your display water line, that pump will give you 349-376 GPH of return flow. Ideally then, you need an overflow that's rated for 400 GPH or more (a little higher than the return flow is best.)

The u-tube type is generally more reliable than the box type, but at that low a rating, you might not get alot of choice.

To reduce the chances of overflow failure, and messy wet carpet, you could get an aqualifter pump to keep sucking any built up air bubbles out of the siphon.

yes it is the one listed in the website u provided...ok that should help me make my shoice..thanx!
