Is there anything I could use to "paint" the PVC that I use in the tank for my return. I have black sand and a black background and would love to make the PVC blend in...I even have the stealth heaters in the tank since you can't see those either....any thoughts?

OK please no one reply....delete this thread as to hide my ignorance as well....there is plenty if I would remember to search first....ARGH!

Thanks to all who actually posted and replied so that I can read those instead

I'm not certain, but I think that you can get black pvc. Another option would be to paint the pipes with the pvc glue to stain them purple. Or get an aquarium safe marine epoxy.

Black pvc has been outlawed and no longer sold.I would not use any paint around aquariums. You might try black aquarium silicone sealer.Just apply a smooth thin layer over the return tube.
