Hi, I've recently purchased a new aquarium; it's made by Tetra. However, it has paper attached to the bottom (underneath the tank). Should this be removed?

It appears to be stuck to the seals on edge of tank? I've never seen this before.

Many thanks,

Ryan

It's brown paper, I thought perhaps it's packaging?

There's also a base on the bottom of the tank, not sure if this should be removed too?

I've attached photos.

Thanks,

Paper is just to protect the tank bottom while shipping etc. Remove it.
Tank is supposed to have black plastic trim on all glass edges so I'm not sure what you're asking about
