Penguin 125 owners...i need help!

For anyone out there who owns a Penguin 125, I have a favor to ask. I'd like to make the switch from my Whisper 10, but the hood of my tank is partially molded onto my tank (it was sold as a kit with the whisper, so there's a cut-out that fits it perfectly), and I'm not sure if it will fit, without busting out the saws-all.

If someone with this filter could please take a measurement for me I'd appreciate it!! I asked the customer service staff at Drs Foster + Smith, but they could only give me the general specs...what I need is the length from the front of the biowheel to the back of the filter.

Hi Sweetsuvvyb!

The filter appears to be 4 inches from the front of the biowheel to the back and just over 7.5 inches from side to side. The biowheel hangs over my tank approximately 5/8th of an inch. I hope that helps! Let me know if you need any other measurements, etc.

Sweets, I measured mine for ya, it is 7.787" wide

from front to back (front being bio-wheel housing) 3.837"
