I'm sure the subject of plant lighting gets beaten to death, but I want to add more lighting to my 55 gallon aquarium. I currently have two T8 15w 18" florescent bulbs in my tank hoods and an external plant lamp (clamp type) with a 65w bulb directed at one side of my aquarium. Is this enough (less than 2 watts per gallon) or do I need another 65 watt lamp on the other side, or would upgrading my one 65 watt bulb to a 120 watt bulb be suffice? I currently have moneywort, anacharis elodea, java moss, and java fern planted in my tank. I will soon be getting some amazon sword plants, some jungle vallisneria, and maybe some dwarf grass. Thanks in advance!
