internal or external Skimmer

You said it, I am finding so many options. I appreciate your recommendation. I like the idea of the quiet! external return pump, and that will enlarge the water volume and flow giving me a larger refugium display.

Is the external skimmer a better option for sound and heat or is in sump quieter and better for the system?

I will post a foot print of the system and base design for you to reveiw.
