Yeah cool thanks for your help I'm in North eastern suburbs, a 4kg bag of salt makes 120 litres and that's about $40

Oh no worries, I didn't realise you were planning in making your own. I buy pre made salt and ro-di water (I live in an apartment and that easier for me) Coburg aquarium is about your best bet then for livestock - I've been there a couple of times but I got to be honest it's a long way to go for me and the mentone and moorabin ones are a bit better

Yeah I've visited coburg multiple times (45 min drive) I'm impressed with their stock but I am not a fan of their customer service at all. I just find it'll be easier to make my own since it's a long way from many sw specialists

Just my opinion, don't get a tunze 9002. I have one on a 30 and I hate it.

Even after doing the airline mod it still barely pulls green tea.

Honestly that's the only one I was recommended that would fit in the back of my AIO. But if your doing a HOB your have much better options. HOB is probably what I will end up doing.

I had a reef octopus 110 on my 55 and I loved it. Although I haven't used any besides that I would say their other skimmers are probably good quality too.
