Pool Filters

Anyone have any experience using pool filters in a SW aquarium? I am wondering if they will corrode or if I use them in a pressure setup if it will handle the pressure.

Pool filters should be able to handle the pressure without a problem (I would imagine that your tank pump is much smaller than a pool pump), the main thing is that the parts are not made for SW and will corrode.

but.. wouldnt chlorine have the same affect?

Yeah I dunno, I asked the company and they said the center rod is SS and it will corrode.
