power heads for wave maker

so im in the middle of planning an upgrade of my tank im wanting a 150 gallon
and im going to be running the apex lite for wave maker so i dont need variable speed. wondering what power heads are recommended. was planing an on off of 1 min on 1 min off

First I would suggest the 125 or 180 over the 150. The 150 is the same tank as the 125, just taller. the 180 is 24" front to back and a much better footprint for a reef. I'm assuming you want a reef because you are inquiring about a wave maker.
As for power heads, what are you looking to spend? The controllable koralias are ok. The vortechs are nice too.

i have already have the apex lite and the controllable koralias are not usable with it as they needs the hydor controller. im not wanting to spend a fortune, and the tunes other then the variable speed are not meant to be used on a wave maker. i was thinking of getting 4 power heads but that can change and didnt want to spend more then 150 each if possible
