Powerhead
I had originally wanted two Penguin 660 powerheads but my mom got me two Maxi-jet 1200's. These are for my 29 gallon reef. Is this to much movement? Or will it be fine?

That is going to put you at 20 times your tank volume. Since that is at the upper end of recommended flow for a reef tank it is going to depend what you have, or plan to keep in the tank. You could point them at the glass or at each other so the tank is turbulent but does not have excessive flow of swirl in one direction.

It is going to depend on what is in your tank. Try it. If it is too much we will come up with something else. Is this a new tank? One thing to also consider is how much [acronym:774e27c845="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:774e27c845] do you have to slow down the flow? I have 19X my tank volume in flow with no issues.
