powerhead for a 55 gallon/ aquabuys.com info too.

what flow rate would i need if i bought one.

here are the 2 i thought about but im not sure if its what i need or not.

What is the GPH of your filter? Also what is in the tank.

i have 2 emperor 400's in the tank and i have a air rock/pump

and i have 8 damsels a goby and 3 turbo snails

Sorry, I should have been more clear. What livestock do you have and is this SW or FW?

I would get the smaller of the two then if I had to choose. You're already at about 13-15 turnover rate so adding another would put you at about 28-29.
I would get a koralia nano if extra flow is necessary.

i just want a "current" for the fish im getting a downward one with the filters but i kinda want the side to side action of a power head.


so your saying the 750 gph is a good size for what im wanting

Yes, that one will get you at just the right flow for a FOWLR.
