powerhead help plz

Gah... I really need to know if I should leave my maxijet powerhead on circulation mode (500gph) as it is kickin up sand & bubbles, making tornados and a ton of noise....
OR put it in powerhead mode (110gph) and aim for reasonable, quiet flow that reaches the whole 10 gallon tank!!

You want it in circulation mode but you need a smaller gph powerhead for your size tank. If you can, take it back and get something smaller.
