powerhead placement for 55 gal brackish tank?

Any suggestions, HOB filter

I'd go with either a marineland emperor 400 or AC110. If I were to choose though I'll pick AC110 because it is quiet and you can choose which medias you want to use unlike just the cartridge and some foam for the emperor 400.

Oops, i should have explained myself more, i was actually wondering where i should place my powerhead in the aquarium, i meant to say i use a HOB filter.

I usually place mine where the water flow won't stir any sand, gravel or move any decorations.

Thanks, i didn't know if it was better to have it circulate the water that is near the heater and the return on my HOB to ensure proper filtration and heat distribution.

That would be a great idea to place it next to the heater. My filter's outtake is next to my heater.
