Powerheads
Hey everyone,
For moderate circulation in a tank, what do you suggest for powerhead turn-over(gph)? I have a 29g, a 20g(tall), and 10g. I currently have a Maxijet 400(~100gph) powering an undergravel filter(used to be my dad's tank, never removed the UGF). The 29g tank has an Aquaclear 70, the 20g has an Aquaclear 50, and the 10g has an Aquaclear 30 for filtration. Thanks for the tips Mike |

The goal is 5x to 10x turnover for FW (even more for SW).
So if you have a 10 gallon tank, you want something that will be around 50 - 100 gph. HTH

Is that just the powerhead, or does that include filter turnover as well?

Turnover or flow is for all water movement combined.
