Proper lighting questions

I bought a 75 gallon a month or so ago. I plan on planting it heavily, and really explore aquascaping as a new hobby.

I currently have a single florescent light (t-8) and that obviously needs to be upgraded. So I've been looking at lights pretty heavily and I'm still unsure of what to buy. I only want to have to do this once, so I want to get it right the first time. I'm hoping you guys can provide some advice.

I've fairly well decided that I need at least 4 T-5HO bulbs or better. I'd like to get some advice on lighting that has worked for you guys, and solid brands/models to look into. I've been looking at the Nova Extreme and some of the other Current USA models.

Price wise I'd like to keep it under $300 if you think that's possible. If not that's fine, just tell me. I'd rather spend the money now and get something I can grow into, VS being limited by my lighting later.
