Tonight I laid out my sump set up. I will need 3 cut pieces of plexi, 2 for added baffles and one for a simple lid on the sump. The sump is being created from a old 20 gal, wet dry. Under the tower wich will house some foam particulate filtration and the last of 3 drawers of the tower will be used for chemical media if I choose to run it, is a permanent baffle.
What the pics are saying. Next to the tower I am placing a baffle where the first angle iron is set to create a chamber for my supply pump of a recycling skimmer I have, second a open 7x12 chamber for a small refuge that will be bare bottom no sand. The depth just will not allow a sand bed so it will hold a few LR frags and macro like Chaeto and some Vulva mixed. The second angle iron will be the baffle to create the return pump chamber.
