Protein skimmer

Hey guys!

I am still in need of a protein skimmer, and I noticed that the Coralife Super Skimmer Needle Wheel Protein Skimmer is on sale this week at Drs Fosters and Smith. Has anyone had this one and would you recommend it? The one that I had originally picked out is the Reef Octopus Hang on Back BH-2000, which is a bit more expensive. Any thoughts?

I'd stick with the octopus one. The extra money is worth it when it comes to a skimmer.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

i have the Reef Octopus Hang on Back skimmer i would tell you to get the one with an external pump like the one i have because the one with the pump in the water will always have micro bubles and the one with the pump on the out side does not. the skimmer i was not happy with at first but after i got everything tweeked it works amazingly
