I have a Seaclone 100 protein skimmer...came with the setup I bought a few months ago. Recently I started noticing lots of air bubbles coming through the outlet back into the tank....
It used to just be "clean" water coming back in, no bubbles. So now there's lot of bubbles, so many that the fish all go hide. Not big bubbles, but "grains of salt" sized. So my questions are:
1) Is this normal or is something wrong?
2) Will this have an adverse affect on the system or fish by adding lots of air to the water?
3) How important is it to get it replaced ASAP if it should be?

I've had it off for the past few days, I cleaned it the best I could, messed with the air valve, and can't get it to stop with the bubbles unless I turn the air valve completely off.

thanks,
John
